Trade sentiment was generally steady.
However, prices were unchanged to lower
when compared to week earlier. Demand
was fair but traders remain somewhat cau
tious. Offerings were adequate for trade
needs. Liquid and frozen eggs (ingredients
included) processed under federal inspec
tion in the Eastern region for the week
ending September 25, 1999 were 13 %
mote than last week, and 3 % mote than the
same week last year. Shell egg supplies
were ample from tegular suppliers.

was fair to about moderate. Offerings con
doned to vuy In both size and volume and
clearances, while decent at aome plants,
woe disappointing at others. Live supplies
remained at least moderate; weights were
irregular In a range of light to heavy. Pro
cessing schedules wete moderately heavy.
Less than truck)ot asking prices were
unchanged at 41 to 60 cents. Trade senti
ment was about steady. In the parts com
plex, buying interest continued to center on
the well balanced to tight supply of bone-in
breasts. Other items wete at least adequate
for the light to fair and generally selective
buyer.
