Co.) Grand champions and
reserve grand champions have
been announced for the
Southdown, Ramouillet* Corrie
dale, and Dorset breeding sheep
competitions here at the 1999
Keystone International Livestock
Exposition (KILE).
Northern Starr Lives Farm of
Lonsdale, Minn, exhibited both
the Southdown champion ram
with “Shattuck 1088” and
Southdown champion sale ewe
with an unnamed entry.
Southdown reserve champion
ram went to Walnut Lane Farm
of York. Claudette Choma of
Stafford Springs, Ct. took
Southdown reserve champion

Locust Ridge Farm of
Annville, took Corriedale cham
pion ewe honors with “Bow
9977.” Corriedale reserve cham
pion ewe honors were awarded
to K & K Corriedales of Ashland,
Ohio.
An unnamed entry from
Limekiln Farm, Limekiln, took
Corriedale champion ram hon-
ors, and another unnamed entry
from Apple Hill Farm in Spring
City took Corriedale reserve
champion ram honors.
Mithoeffer Dorrets Farm
from Lafayette, Ind. had a suc
cessful day in the sheep ring,
taking Dorset champion ram
honors with “Mithoeffer 98178,”
Dorset reserve champion ram
honors with “Pine Forest 98-
203,” and Dorset reserve cham
nion ewe honors with
“Mithoeffer 98119.” Haven Point
Farm of New Castle took Dorset
champion ewe honors with
“Haven Point 9781.”
Grand champions and
reserve grand champions have
been announced for the KILE
Hampshire, Merino, Montadale,
Oxford, Shropshire, and Suffolk
breeding sheep competitions.
Tim and Sarah Planner of
Robesonia, exhibited the
Hampshire champion ram with
“Fleener 9903.” Reserve champi
on ram went to “Fought,” exhib
ited by Sulphur Run Farm of
Carlisle.
Double Bar D Farm in
Navarre, Ohio took champion
ewe honors with “Double Bar D
9916,” and “9908” of S/L Farms
in Yorkshire N.Y. took reserve
champion ewe.
Shady Hollow Farms of
Pulaski took both Merino cham
pion ram with “SHF 98-71” and
reserve champion ewe with
“SHF 97-62.”

38.”
