Co.) - While the wind and rain
from hurricane Floyd cut short
many of the activities at the
Solanco Fair, Thursday, the
Holstein show went on in the
confinement of the dairy barn,
even though the number of entries
reflected the weather conditions.
Even so, a nice group of
quality animals were shown, and
Shane Hall showed his Starbuck
aged cow that was stylish and
upstanding with a very nice udder
to the grand championship. The
winner was C. Kennaim Ashe
Sherri.
Ben Welk, showed LovDal
Skybuck Elvira, the first place
three-year-old to reserve grand
champion honors.
