DELMARVA BROILER/FRYER
MARKET. FEDERAL-STATE
Movement of ready-to-cook whole binds
was light and cautious. Seller offerings
remained fully adequate to ample Live
supplies were at least moderate; weights
varied, but were often noted as heavier
than desired. Processing schedules were
moderate to heavy. The approaching hurri
cane was already causing some disruptions
and some plants anticipated curtailing
operations. Less than trucklot asking prices
were unchanged at 53 to 65 cents Trade
sentiment was unsettled to weak. Wings
were adequate and clearing well. Boneless/
skinless and bone-in breasts were readily
available. Leg quartets were fully adequate
to ample.
