KUTZTOWN (Berks
Co.) Dale-Pride Holsteins of
the north Annville area exhibited
the grand and reserve grand
champions of the Southeast Pen
nsylvania Championship Holstein
Show Wednesday evening.
Judge for the show was James
Kahlcr of Wcllsboro.
Alan, Kurt and Brian Hostetler
served as leadsmen for the Dale-
Pride Holstein show animals.
Their senior 3-year-old, Dale-
Pride Malach Angelica was named
grand champion. Angelica is a
Robthom Malachite-ET daughter
out of Dale-Pride Cleitus Anjee.
The reserve grand champion
was a junior 3-year-old, another
Malachite daughter, Dale-Pride
Malachite Alva, out of dam Dale-
Pride Chesapeake Avis.
In the youth division, the grand
champion was an aged cow. Key
stone Highlight Lake, owned by
Sara Hlavaty of Easton. The
reserve grand champion was a
junior 2-ycar-old, Tumpikc-Vicw
Skybuck Penny, owned by P. Dus
tin Homing of Stevens.
The junior champions were the
same for the open and youth
divisions.
The junior champion was a
winter calf. Woodbine Mity P
Maple, owned by Candice M.
Knight of Woodbine Farm in
Annville.
The reserve junior champion
was a summer yearling, Dalce-
Bred Encore Gidgct, teed and
owned by Timothy Vail of
Lebanon.
The premier breeder was Dale-
Pride Holsteins. The premier exhi
bitor of the show was the Homing
family of Stevens Paul, Lind
say, Kelly and P. Dustin Homing.
More than 100 animals were
exhibited during the show, which

WASHINGTON, D.C. Con
gressman Joseph R. Pitts, repre
sentative of the 16th Congression
al District, will conduct his annual
farm tour on Tuesday, September
7 at 9 a.m. During the Farm Tour,
Congressman Pitts will visit two
Lancaster County and Chester
County farms to discuss with
farmers the issues they face on a
daily basis.
