    Jersey Show Set
LIBERTY (Tioga Co.) The
stage is set for the 14th annual
Northeast District Jersey Show
at the Tioga County Fairgrounds
in Whitneyville, on Monday,
August 16.
To be judged by Chuck
Luchsinger, classes for the event
include all typical calf and cow
classes as well as a class for
senior yearlings in milk and a
production class for animals
who have produced 100,000
pounds of milk or 4,000 pounds
of fat. A premier exhibitor and
premier breeder for the show
will also be named.
Once again, the Noble family
will present a premier perfor
mance award in memory of
Tommy G. Noble. The award will
be given at the end of the show
and will be based on 50-percent
milk production, and 50-percent
on class placing.

Animals may enter the fair
grounds after 10 p.m. on
Saturday, August 14.
To be admitted to the show,
animals must be free from signs
of clinical illness or contagious
or infectious diseases and must
be presented with an official
health certificate upon entering
the fairgrounds. Vaccinations
required include IBR, PI3, and
BVD.
Animals that have not been
vaccinated against BVD during
the previous 12 months must
receive one dose of modified live
virus vaccine given at least 15
days and not more than 180
days before the show.
