there was an unusually large number of
calves on hand Vealers traded as
much as 10 00 higher, but orders were
mostly filled by the time the graded

CATTLE: Compared to Tuesday,
slaughter steers and heifers sold dO lower.
A fair number of late cattle traded as much
as 1.00 lower, after buyers had mostly
filled their orders. A good tun of Holstein
steers sold 30-1.00 lower. Slaughter cows
sold 3.00, instances 4.00 lower to end the
week as much as 6.00 lower. Slaughter
bulls traded 1.00 lower, but top quality
bulls were not well tested. Supply included
48 pet slaughter steers and 31 pet cows.
