was genera] ly noted as light to fair at best
and typical of normal mid-week activity
Offerings were fully adequate to ample on
the 2.5 pound size; adequate and in fairly
good balance on the heavier sizes. Live
supplies were at least moderate; weights
were mostly desirable to light Less than
trucklot asking prices were unchanged at
56 to 68 cents. Trade sentiment was steady
to barely steady. In the parts complex
wings cleared at higher trending prices.
Leg items were readily available and diffi
cult to clear. Breast items were fully

GLANCE
Prices continued unchanged to higher on
the larger sizes, unchanged on the balance.
The market lone was fully steady to firm
on the larger eggs, mostly steady on the
smaller sizes. Demand was mostly mod
erate to good, with beat interest noted into
the increased feature activity. Supplies
were short on the the West Coast; else
where, the huger sizes were in close
balance to tight The medium and smaller
eggs were usually adequate. Breaking
stock supplies were adequate to fully
adequate from regular sources, and the
demand for additional eggs was light, how
ever, some trading was noted at higher
levels for quality breaking stock. Light
type hens were folly adequate to ample for
processors' needs.
