JULY 02. 1999. FEDERALSTATE
All prices were unchanged. The market
tone was cautiously steady. Demand was
light to moderate, and some buyers sought
to secure product at current values to cover
the fourth quarter. Liquid and frozen eggs
(ingredients Included) processed under fed
eral inspection in the Eastern region for the
week ending June 26,1999 were 1 % more
than last week, and 3% mote than the sathe
week last year. Shell egg supplies were usu
ally available.

Prices were two cents higher for the lar
ger sizes and unchanged for mediums. The
market tone was steady to fully steady.
Movement was fairly good. Supplies were
adequate to close for the larger sizes and
generally adequate on the balance: The
New York State shell egg inventory
decreased by 1 percent and the New Jersey
inventory was 13 percent less than a week
ago.
