PARTS - PART I FEDERAL-STATE
Truckle* buying interest was at best
slow as dealers continued to straggle for
business. Offerings were generally falling
on deaf ears as buyers were reluctant to
make committments at any price level.
Movement through most retail and distri
butive channels was difficult to find as we
entered the last weekend of the month The
market was weakest on breast items, about
steady on the balance.

NATIONAL EGO MARKET - AT A
GLANCE
All prices continued generally
unchanged to lower. The market tone was
barely steady to weak, mostly weak on the
large sizes. Demand ranged slow to fair,
and was better where featured and into
food service outlets. Supplies were adequ
ate to ample on all sizes except Jumbos
were occasionally tight in some areas.
Breaking stock supplies were also adequ
ate to ample, and the undertone was barely
steady to weak. Light type hens were more
than sufficient for slaughter needs.
