Mummert family of Adams County has been dairy farming since the early 19605. They currently own 375 acres,
farm approximately 900 acres and have 200 cows and 240 heifers. Their current herd average is 24,500 lbs./cow.
The Mummert family also owns and operates Buttercup Farm Market, located along Rt. 194 near East Berlin,
where they sell baked goods, fruits and vegetables, plants, crafts and seasonal goods.
