was unsettled on yolks, and ftdly steady on
whole and whites. Demand was fair. Sup
plies were occasionally short to adequate.
Liquid and frozen eggs (ingredient*
included) processed under federal inspec
tion in the Eastern region for the week
ending May IS, 1999 were unchanged
from last week, and 6% less than the same
week a year ago. Shell egg supplies were
adequate,
