light offering of slaughter steers sold
sharply higher Quality was very good,
but no more than usual, and trading
never settled down enough to fully es
tablish a trend Holstein steers and
slaughter heifers were not well tested
An attractive light offering of slaughter
cows sold steady to 50 higher, while
slaughter bulls traded steady on a thin

test, which was Monday, a good offering

very active trading. The market charged

tion, veal calves sold 10.00 to as much as
14.00 higher as the market continues to be
volatile. Slaughter calves sold mostly
10.00 lower in a fairly light test. Holstein
bulls returning to feed traded mostly 10.00
higher with good demand, even for the
very plain calves. The Holstein heifers sold
steady compared to Monday's light test.
Supply included 330 head in the State
graded sale and 82 percent returned to
feed.
