    West Snyder FFA Members Earn Sun Area Degrees
BEAVER SPRINGS (Snyder
Co.) Five West Snyder FFA
members received their Sun
Area FFA degrees at the SUN
Area FFA Fall Meeting in
November at West Snyder High
School.
West Snyder FFA members
included Jessica Catherman,
Heidi Good, Jennifer
McWilliams, Sandra Opdyke,
and Jessica Walter.
In order to receive the SUN
Area FFA degree, members
must have completed two years
of agricultural courses and
earned or invested at least $5OO
or worked at least 300 hours in a
supervised agriculture experi
ence (SAE) project. Members
must participate in two pro
grams presented to the public
and represented the chapter

Jennifer is vice president of
chapter development for the
West Snyder FFA Chapter.
Jennifer has attended the
National FFA Convention, the
Washington Leadership
Conference, and Made For
Excellence Leadership confer
ences. She has exhibited her
dairy animals in district and
state competition and placed
first in the SUN Area Dairy

Graybill, Midd-West Young
Farmer adviser.
