varied and was only about moderate over
all. Offerings continued to vary from ship
per to shipper but were at least adequate.
Live supplies were moderate; weights were
mostly desirable to heavy. Processing
schedules were moderate to moderately
heavy. Less than tmcklot asking prices
were unchanged at 46 to 60 cents. Trade
sentiment was mostly steady. In the parts

GLANCE
In Chicago and the Eastern region,
prices were unchanged to lower on the Itr
ger sizes. Medium egg prices were also
unchanged to lower in the Southeast and
parts of the Northeast. Elsewhere, prices
were unchanged. The market tone was
steady to weak, mostly cautious. Demand
was light to moderate, and the best move
ment usually centered around the limited
feature activity. Supplies remained adequ
ate to instances ample on the larger sizes,
and the lighter weights were usually
adequate to available. Breaking stock sup
plies were at least adequate for the light to
moderate demand, light type hens were
fully adequate to ample for current needs.
