CHAMBERSBURG (Franklin
Co.) The Franklin County
Holstein Club held its annual
meeting recently at Savoy Cater
ing Service, Waynesboro, where it
recognized the top cow on test and
junior member achievements.
The following juniors received
recognition for winning Junior
All-Pennsylvania awards. The
awards are made to owners of
registered Holstein cattle, based on
a year’s accumulation of the ani
mals’ placings at sanctioned
shows.
Recognized were Kyle Burdette
of Metcetsburg for having the
Junior All-Pa. winter calf, and
reserve winter yearling; Jessica
Bshr.lman of St Thomas for have
the reserve Jr. All-Pa. junior
2-year-old; Matthew Martin of
Mcrccrsburg for his honorable
mention Jr. All-Pa. junior 2-year
old; Emily Stuff of Mcrccrsburg
