Improvement was hard to find on the plain er cattle, but discounts were not nearly as harsh on the heavy-weight individuals. Holstein steer prices were steady to 1.00 higher. Slaughter cow trading was mixed; the lean cows (over 85 pet) sold .50 to mostly 1.00 lower, while the fleshier types were mostly steady. Slaughter bulls sold steady with Monday.
