slaughter steer sales were weak Trad
ing started out rather slow and never
reached the active levels of last week,
although prices held up fairly well Hol
stein steers and slaughter heifers sold
steady Slaughter cow prices were
mostly steady on a plain test and

active trading Supply included 67 per

of the weakness shown early in the
week. Holstein steers and slaughter heif
ers were not well tested. Slaughter cow
prices were mostly steady, while
