tion, veal calves sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher in
a light test. Slaughter calves were
2.00-7.00 higher in fairly active trading.
The Holstein bull calves returning to feed
sold sharply higher than Monday's light
lest, with prices tanging 30.00-40.00 high
er. Demand was good for Holstein heifers
but there was not a good price comparison
for Monday. Supply included 345 head in
the State graded sale and around 89 percent
returned to the farm.
VEALERS: Good and Choice 70-1 lo
lbs 24.00-31.00, few up to 35.00. Standard
and low Good 60-90 lbs 11.00-25.00.
SLAUGHTER CALVES: Good and
Choice 180-300 lbs 77.00-91.00, few up to
110.00; 300-500 lbs 67.00-80.00. Standard
