GLANCE
Prices were unchanged. The market tone
was steady. Demand ranged light to mod
erate, instances good where retail features
stimulated additional buying activity. Sup
plies were close to adequate in the Midwest
and North Central region and extra large
sizes were tight in the North Atlantic area.
Elswhete, supplies were adequate. Break
ing stock supplies were usually sufficient
from regular sources, and some demand for
additional eggs was noted where reduced
schedules were planned. Light type fowl
were at adequate to ample.

ment remained steady. Demand was most
ly light. Supplies were adequate. Liquid
and frozen eggs (ingredients included) pro
cessed under federal inspection in the East
ern region for the week ending February 13
were 5% less than last week, and 20% less
than the same week last year. Shell egg
supplies were generally adequate.
