At this event, market man
agers will offer a short presenta
tion to the audience describing
their market, the community it
serves, and the types of products
in demand.
You’ll have the opportunity to
ask questions about their mar
kets or about direct marketing
in general. You can also take the
opportunity to meet with the
managers one-on-one at their
booth and pick up market appli
cations to participate in the
markets that interest you.
We’ll also hear an update on
the 1999 Farmers Market
Nutrition Program from the
NYS Department of Agriculture
& Markets. This is an invalu
able program to farmers’ mar
kets, increasing their customer
traffic and providing additional
revenue for participating farm
