NATIONAL EGO MARKET - AT A
GLANCE
Prices were unchanged on the West
Coast, and unchanged to lower elsewhere.
The market tone remained weak. Demand
ranged poor to moderate, mostly light, and
features were planned in many areas to sti
mulate additional interest. Supplies were
adequate to ample, mostly ample.
Breaking stock supplies were adequate
from regular sources, and the demand for
additional eggs was light as most buyers
cautiously watched the market Light type
hens were more than adequate for slaugh
ter schedules.
