Prices were unchanged. The market tone
was generally steady. Demand was light to
moderate. Supplies were usually adequate.
Liquid and frozen eggs (ingredients
included) processed under federal inspec
tion in the Eastern region for the week
ending January 16, 1999 were 13% less
than last week, and 10% less than the same
week last year. Heavy nest tun egg offer
ings were limited.
