enjoy the contests, field trips, and leader
ship conferences where I get to meet new
people and get to know my own chapter
better. The skills I have learned through
the FFA ate skills I will take with me all
throughout my life.”
Rebecca, 18, is the daughter of Clifford
and Anna Day, New Holland. She plans a
one-year mission project and to enroll in
college to major in elementaty education.
Rebecca has served as chapter historian
and is treasurer. She has also served on the
cooperation, financial, and human resour
ces committees. In addition, Rebecca has
completed projects in lamb finishing and
off-farm work experience.

Jason. 17, is the son of Wayne and Bon
nie Dcardorff, East Berlin. The Dover
FFA member has served as chapter stu
dent adviser and chapter president In
addition, Jason has served on the follow
ing committees: citrus sale, calendar sale,
pig roast, and auction. He has entered the
York Fair under a wide range of entries,
picking up first place in oats, com, hay,’
barley, and wheat. He has entered various
feed and grain production and state lives
tock judging contests and received the
Star Chapter Farmer.
Jason, who earned the Greenhand,
chapter, and White Rose degrees, plans to

Jaimey says she enjoys the conferences
FFA conducts. “To see that many kinds
(under control) working together, making
new friends on their own, and actually
maturing in front of you is amazing,“ she
wrote.
Jaimey, 17, is the daughter of Daniel
and Zena De Haven, Honey Brook. She
has served as junior adviser since 1996. In
addition, Jaimey has served on several
committees, including recreation as chair
person and on Food For America. She has
completed cat and off-fann work experi
ence and received several awards, includ
ing proficiency in small animal produc
tion, outdoor recreation, and a bronze
medal in the state project book contest.
She has received her Greenhand and
chapter degrees.

Mandy, 17, is the daughter of Robert
and Susan Decker, Meycrsdale. Mandy
noted that after graduation from high
school, she plans to attend a four-year col
lege to major in equine science.
She has served as chapter student advis
er and president. She has also served as
county FFA secretary and FFA reporter.
In addition, Mandy has served on several
committees, including FFA Sweetheart,
BOAC, and the fall-spring trip. She com
pleted directed laboratory experience pro
jects and received several awards, includ
ing the state landscape management profi
ciency award. She received her
Greenhand and chapter degrees.
