Trading was moderately active and a fair amount of the supply was made up of heavy weight cattle (over 1475 lbs), where discounts were considerable. Holstein steers sold steady to weak. The slaughter cow market was weak, as most packets must hold their cows over the long weekend. Slaughter bulls were steady. Supply included 45 percent slaughter steers and 36 percent cows.
