GLANCE
Prices were unchanged on the West
Coast, and medium prices were unchanged
to lower elsewhere. The market tone was
mostly steady for the larger sizes, and
steady to weak for mediums. Demand
ranged light to good, mostly moderate, and
was best where featured. Supplies were
adequate to fully adequate with the excep
tion of the West Coast where offerings
were repotted light, and mediums were in
the longest position. Breaking stock sup
plies were adequate for the light demand,
and prices trended lower, light type hens
were sufficient for full slaughter schedules.
