Advertisement for Bids
Sealed bids for two surplus New Leader E 7020 Hopper Type Spreaders, will be
received by the Board of Supervisors of Spnngettsbury Township, York,
Pennsylvania, at the Spnngettsbury Township Administration Building, 1501 Mt.
Zion Road, York, Pennsylvania, 17402, until 10:45 am. December 21, 1998 at
which place and time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Information for Bidders, Specifications and Form of Proposal may be examined
and copies, thereof may be obtained at the offices located at 1501 Mt. Zion Road,
York, Pa or at the Spnngettsbury Township Wastewater Treatment Facility, 3501
North Sherman Street, York, Pa or contact Ed Sowers at 717-757-3521 to have a
bid form mailed.
Spnngettsbury Township reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject
any or all bids.
Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check/bid bond and made payable to
Spnngettsbury Township in an amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the amount
bid as a guarantee that in case the contract is awarded thereafter to him that he
will, within twenty (20) days execute such contract by paying the amount bid in full
and within thirty (30) Days after being awarded the Bid, remove the spreaders
purchased from Spnngettsbury Township Wastewater Facility property.
The New Leader Spreaders were in working condition when removed from
Township vehicles, but are being sold in AS IS condition. Bidders are encouraged
to inspect spreaders before bidding.
No bidder may withdraw his bid after the date set for the opening thereof.
