DELMARVA BROILER/FRYER
MARKET. FEDERAL-STATE
Movement of ready-to-cook whole birds
was often noted as stagnant Seller offer
ings were in a range of adequate to readily
available and were in the closer balance on
the under 3 pound sizes. Heavier weights,
particularly 4 pound sizes were difficult to
place. Live supplies were at least mod
erate; weights were mostly heavy. Less
than trucklot asking prices were unchanged
at 58 to 72 cents. Trade sentiment was
barely steady to weak. In the parts com
plex, volumes and items available varied
from plant to plant, but were fully suffi
cient to handle the generally light and spot
ty buying interest
