This conference is being co-sponsored by the Pennsylvania Forage and Grassland Council and the Grazing Research and Education center. If you have interest in extending the grazing season, using TMR on pastures, custom heifer raising, improving your pastures or which pasture plant species are best for your farm then you should make plans to attend the Grazing Conference at the Holiday Inn in Grantville. In addition to these topics, many of which will include experi enced grazers as presenters, Dr. Jim Gerrish, a scientist from the University of Missouri, will be the keynote speaker. Gerrish's grazing research has gained him a very strong national and international repu tation as an excellent scientist n Season’s Lancaster Poured Walls •Agriculture I - • Commercial • Residential 'i Call for Prices On: • SCS approved Manure Storage Pits • Basements • Retaining Walls • Footers • Floors Customer Satisfaction is Our Goal Lancaster Poured Walls 2001 Jarvfc Rd. • Lancaster, PA 17601 • (717) 299-3974 Hot Air Circulator (Needs NO Electricity) • Special top-vents create a natural draft • Bums wood or coal • Cast Iron Doors & Grate • Exterior handle for clean shake down Optional Electric Fan for the maximum heat circulation. • All OS Stoves have hot air (or hot water) regulators • All DS Stoves have cast iron doors and grates • All DS Stoves have exterior shaker handle for dust-free n shake down iDS Machine Shop Stoves & Chimneys 2388 Old Leacock Rd., Gordonville, PA 17529 717-768-3853 March 3-4 that keeps his research applica ble to the farm. In addition to the structured educational program, there will be a trade show with company representatives available to showcase the latest in grazing technology. If it is New Zealand style milking facilities of fence insulators that you are interest ed in, you can learn about it and purchase it at the trade show.
