The auction picked up steam, after opening slow on an unusually large selection of bulls and odd bunches of plain cattle. Early-week pressure was not evident and prices ended the week fully steady. Hols tein steers sold steady and slaughter heifers were not well tested. Slaughter cows sold •SO-1.00 higher with the highest prices posted late in the sale. A good tun of slaughter bulls sold steady to 1.00 higher. Supply included 34 percent slaughter steers and 42 percent slaughter cows.
