CATTLE Compared to Thursday,
slaughter steers sold mostly steady to
50 lower Trading was not as active as
last week, but prices held then ground
fairly well A good offering of slaughter
steers sold firm to 50 higher and
slaughter heifers were fully steady with
Thursday's light lest The slaughter
cow market was not fully tested, but
prices on the light supply were no
tioeably higher Slaughter bulls sold
fully steady Supply included 57

CATTLE: Compared to Tuesday,
slaughter steers sold steady to .SO higher.
The auction picked up steam, after opening
slow on an unusually large selection of
bulls and odd bunches of plain cattle.
Early-week pressure was not evident and
prices ended the week fully steady. Hols
tein steers sold steady and slaughter heifers
were not well tested. Slaughter cows sold
•SO-1.00 higher with the highest prices
posted late in the sale. A good tun of
slaughter bulls sold steady to 1.00 higher.
Supply included 34 percent slaughter
steers and 42 percent slaughter cows.
