Informed Farmer Reads Lancaster Farming
Even when formers don’t have time, they take time to read Lancaster Farming. Dennis
Drager, Marietta, was caught in this kind of situation a few weeks ago when the hayl
age needed to be put in the silo. While the load automatically fed into the blower, Den
nis pulled up an easy chair and scanned the latest issue of farm news, markets, and
advertising messages. John Hess of Hess Agri Marketing, a neighbor, caught Dennis’
reading moment on camera and was kind enough to send this photo along to the
editor.
