Full time, Jill Hotlines stu dies floriculture. In her spare time, she helps others leam about the beauty of growing and arranging flowers. For her help to the Mount Joy 4-H Community Club and for her involvement in the 4-H sheep and beef clubs of Lancaster County, Jill was honored with the Lancas ter County 4-H Superior Achieve ment Award Tuesday at the Lan caster County 4-H Recognition Night. Several hundred 4-H members, family and friends attended the banquet at the Comfort Inn in Centerville. Jill, 18, is the daughter of Robert and Linda Hoffmes, Marietta. A 1998 graduate of Donegal High School, Jill is a freshman at Penn College, Williamsport, studying floriculture. Jill served as president of the beef club and served on the sheep club. She also served as a flower arrangement team leader with the for her involvement in the 4-H sheep and beef clubs of Lan caster County, Jill Hoffines was honored as the winner of the Lancaster County 4-H Superior Achievement Award Tuesday night at the Lancaster County 4-H Recognition Night. At the banquet, Harold Keller, Mount Joy, was hon ored for nearly 38 years of service to the annual Lancaster County 4-H Strawberry Roundup. She will be graduated with a floral degree in 2000. The Superior Achievement Award Plaque is in memory of 4-H leaders Elmer L. and Pauline E. Boyd.
