CATTLE. Compared to Thursday’s ac
tive market, slaughter steers sold
mostly 100 lower Prices are back
down to near week-ago levels, after
Friday's lower boxed beef market Hol
stein steers were mostly steady in a light
test, but there was definite pressure on
heavy-weights Slaughter heifer prices
were weak The slaughter cow market
was not fully tested and slaughter bulls
sold fully steady, instances 100
higher on the younger, fed bulls Sup
ply included 41 percent slaughter steers
and 15 percent slaughter cows
