LANCASTER (Lancaster Co.)
The third annual Ag
Computing and Electronics
(ACE) Expo will be Wednesday,
Dec. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30
p.m. here at the Lancaster Host
Resort.
The expo features more than
40 sessions designed to help
farmers throughout the Mid-
Atlantic and Northeast regions
put the latest electronic technol
ogy to work in their operations.
Through informative semi
nars, hands-on workshops and a
trade show, attendees will learn
about and experience precision
agriculture, computer and com
munications technology that can
enhance profitability and effi
ciency. Sessions aimed at experi
enced computer-users and
novices alike will cover a variety
of hardware, software, and busi
ness management topics.
The trade show will feature
exhibits from companies special
izing in ag software, hardware,
and interfacing equipment for
barn, field, and pickup truck.
There will be 30-minute breaks
between workshops, giving
attendees ample time to talk
with vendors and compare prod
ucts.

monitors and spray controllers
to aerial infrared photography.
The registration fee for the
ACE Expo is $59 until Oct. 31.
After Oct 31, the fee is $79.
Spouses receive a $lO discount.
Lunch is included in the regis
tration fee.' The five “Hands-On
Workshops” each require an
additional $25 fee to cover com
puter lab and instructional
costs.

Maryland Farmer magazines,
Penn State Cooperative Extension,
Maryland Cooperative Extension,
Nutrient Solutions in Agricul
ture and Pennsylvania Farm
Bureau. Financial support comes
