RIO GRANDE, OHIO- Richard
Hann of Hershey, PA, recently
joined 30 other forage leaders from
across the United States at the
American Forage and Grassland
Council’s (AFGC) Leadership
Conference in southeastern Ohio.
The meeting provided a forum for
sharing ideas on strengthening local
forage programs and communicat
ing the importance of forages in live
stock production.
Conference sponsors including
the American Forage and Grassland
Council, the Forage and Grassland
Foundation, The Ohio State
University and Bob Evans
Corporation. Highlights of the three
day session included tours and dis
cussion with Bob Evans about their
grazing operation. Dr. Bobby Moser,
vice president for agricultural
administration and dean, College of
Food, Agricultural and Environmental
Sciences, The Ohio State University,
