Holstein Association
Announces New Field Staff
BRATTLEBORO, Vt. The
Holstein Association USA recen
tly announced two additions to its
staff.
According to association news
releases, C. Peter Cole of Ascut
ney, Vermont, has joined the orga
niztaion as director of registry pro
cessing and policy administration;
while Mike Snyder of Bataboo,
Wisconsin, has joined as regional
representative in western
Wisconsin.
In his position. Cole is to man
age the registry department as well
as perform duties in the quality
assurance department.
Prior to joining the Holstein
Association, Cole was the town
manager in Weathersfield, Ver
mont, for nine years. He has a
bachelor's degree from Dartmouth
College and is pursuing a master's
degree in public administration at
the University of Vermont
As field representative, Snyder
is to offer the association’s range
of products and services to current
and prospective customers.
Since 1985, Snyder had owned
and managed Snyder Sales, carry
ing out dairy cattle marketing for
individuals, clubs and associa
tions. Prior to that, he worked as
the general manager for the Wis
consin Holstein Association.
Snyder first worked for the
Holstein Association in 1971,
when he was the program director
for the norther two-thirds of Wis
consin and Michigan's Upper
Peninsula. In 1978, he was named
manager of consultation services
for the association, developing and
coordinating programs and super
vising more than 20 consultants.
He joins Holstein Association
USA's Central Region team of
regional representatives, covering
territory from the Dakotas to Mis
souri and Arkansas, to Michigan
and Indiana.
