Champion Of World Dairy Expo
MADISON, Wis. A 5-year
old Holstein cow exhibited by
Alta Genetics Inc., Continental
and Everett Simanton of Alberta,
Canada was named America’s su
preme champion cow during clos
ing ceremonies at the 32nd World
Daily Expo. The animal. Acme
Star Lily, was sired by Hanover
hill Starbuck. Her dam is Acme
Anthony Lil. The champion pro
duced a 305-day record of 25,095
lbs. of milk, 869 lbs. o fat and 761
lbs. of protein.
The reserve supreme champion
honors went to the champion from
the Central National Jersey Show.
Waymar Patrick Nadine is a
7-year-old Jersey owned by Pied
mont Jersey Inc. of Quebec, Can
ada. She has a 305-day record of
21,389 lbs. of milk, 983 lbs. of fat
and 855 lbs. of protein.

A Holstein cow named L-
Maples Skybuck Jean was se
lected as the supreme champion of
the junior show during World
Dairy Expo. She was exhibited by
Tom Lyon Jr. of Westfield, Wis
consin. The champion was sired
by Hanover Hill Skybuck and her
305-day record is 17,107 lbs. of
milk, 760 lbs. of fat and 568 lbs. of
protein.
The reserve supreme champion
of the junior show was
Space Merrit Cinnamon, exhibited
by Brian Foster of Juda, Wiscon
sin. The animal was representing
the Central National Jersey Show.
