Just a note of thanks for your past patronage, as well as for your interest in our FREE DRAWIN G Phmes IlsooSta'-iw
and in the FAVORITE COOKIES RECIPE drawing. We received far more recipes than we could try out, Fm
so we had to pick those that looked or sounded the most delicious! We then made or baked them, and we
arrived at the following recipe as being our winner for 2nd quarter 1998! The $lOO.OO winner below.
CONGRATULATIONS TO:
SOFT OATMEAL COOKIES
1 Cup oil
2 eggs
1-1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup molasses
Mix first four ingredients. Sift together and add flour, soda, salt & cinnamon. Mix and add raisins,
nuts and oats. Drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Makes 5
dozen
