HARRISBURG (Dauphin
Co.) A number of Pennsylva
nia beef breeders showed their best
at the Keystone International
Livestock Exposition, held Sept
29-Oct 5 at the state Farm Show
Complex in Harrisburg.
The five beef cattle open divi
sion breed shows held at KILE
attract exhibitors from across the
United States and Canada, making
it truly an international exposition.
The Hereford show is reported
in a separate story. The results and
photographs of the champions of
the Simmental, Angus, Limousin,
and Shorthorn breeds were
reported this week by show staff.
The Simmental show also
includes several Pennsylvania
Capital Futurity classes.
Bobby Singleton served as
judge for the Simmental Futurity.
Hereford and Angus breeds. Jack
Ward served as judge for the
Limousin and Shorthorn cattle, as
well as the regular Simmental
breeding show.
