CATTLE: Compared to early in the
week, slaughter steers sold .SO-1.00 higher.
Trading returned to normal, after last
week's buyers market. For the week, prices
aided 1.00-1.50 higher with moderate pre
miums and discounts applied to the fancy
and plainer individuals respectively. Hols
tein steer prices were fully steady and a
limited test of slaughter heifers sold steady
to 1.00 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls
traded mostly steady to firm. Supply
included 39 percent slaughter steers and 39
percent slaughter cows.

trading continued active, but was not com
parable to Monday's light test. Around 80
percent of supply returned to feed.
