The junior market livestock sale held late last week in conjunction with the Lampeter Fair had a very high price paid for the grand champion market steer. Jeff Wiker representing H. L. Wiker & Son paid $2,700 for Delvin Kropfs grand champion 4-H steer. The grand champion FFA steer sold for $2,000 to Hoss’s Steak and Sea House represented by Robert Billet. In the hog sale, Stauffers of Kis sel Hill represented by Mike Huegcl paid $1,150 for Ryan Hoover’s grand champion FFA hog.
