Prices were two cents higher for the
large sizes, and unchanged on mediums.
The market tone was hilly steady to firm
for Urge and extra-large, and Heady for
mediums. Demand was mixed across the
hill range, and was mostly moderate; retail
specials continued to provide the best
movement. Supplies of the Urge sizes were
no more than adequate and mediums were
at least adequate.

GLANCE:
Prices were unchanged to higher for the
Urge sizes east of the Rockies, and other
prices were unchanged. The maiket tone
remained steady to firm for the large sizes,
and steady for light weights. Demand con
tinued mixed, mostly moderate to good and
best into retail specials and where inter
dealer inquiry for heavy eggs was active.
Supplies of the Urge sizes were tight to
adequate, and light sizes were adequate or
available. Breaking stock inventories from
regular sources were about adequate, and
additional supplies of heavy nest run
remained limited and competitively prices
while light eggs remained available. Light
type hen supplies were adequate for full
plant schedules.
