LAMPETER (Lancaster Co.) -
In the Lampeter Fair junior market
hog show Wednesday afternoon, a
brother/sister duo took home the
honors. Ryan Hoover had the
grand champion in the FPA show
and his sister Julene Hoover had
the grand champion in the 4-H
show. The Hoover youths belong
to Dave and Judy Hoover,
Washington' Boro. Both hogs
topped their heavyweigh division,
Ryan’s at 262 pounds and Julene’s
at 270 pounds.
Dave Holloway, well know
York County breeder was the
judge.
The youth beef show was held
Wednesday night with Delvin
Kropf, Lancaster, winning the 4-H
show with a purebred Angus.
