i li The Bashline herd consists of 62+ excel- Jj Ji
lent grade dairy cattle bred to be a fall and winter freshen-
ing herd. 57 adult females of which 50% will be fresh by the end of October.
Cattle adapted for loose housing or free stall. Currently on plant test with a
3.2% Protein, 3.58% butterfat. Somatic cell is 249,000 with bacteria under
10,000. Approx. 30 head being milked to date w/cows freshening daily.
Currently filling tank averaging over 45 Ibs./cow. These numbers are con
stantly on the nse as cows freshen. Remainder of the herd are drying and due
through Jan. 1 st. Cattle have exceptionally good feet, legs, and tight udders.
Large framed cattle All A 1 bred. Sires include; Dazzler, Likabul, Belltone,
Spippdr Merrill. Service sires include; Jordan, Jack, Aristides, Andrew, and
others: 6+ heifer calves ages April to newborn to be sold w/many more
expected by sale time. Cows on a haylage, grain & pasture feeding program.
