DELMARVA BROILER/FRYER
MARKET. FEDERAL-STATE
Movement of ready-to-cook whole birds
remained fairly good; however, inquiry for
additional product had slowed significant
ly at some points. Seller offerings were
adequate to short and were in the closer
balance on the smaller sizes. Live supplies
were mostly moderate; weights varied, but
were generally heavier than desired. Pro
cessing schedules were moderately heavy.
Less than trucklot asking prices were
unchanged at 67 to 81 cents. Trade senti
ment was steady to firm. In the parts com
plex, wings were short of a good demand.
Breast items were irregularly available.
Leg quarters were in heavy supply and
were slow in clearing.
