WHITNEYVILLE (Tioga Co.)
_ More than 200 entries from
seven counties were exhibited at
the 51st annual Northeast
Pennsylvania District 4-H Show
at the Tioga County Fairgrounds
recently.
Judge John Burkett sorted
through the entries to name the
top winners in each class. In the
Ayrshire show,'the junior cham
pion was Stefanie Long's Shale
Hill Soldier Kate, a spring year
ling The reserve junior champi
on was Plum Bottom Katie’s
Hope, a fall calf owned by
Kaitlyn Johnson. The senior and
grand champion Ayrshire was
junior 2-year-old AK Dallis
Dandy Daphie, owned by Derek
Long, while the reserve senior
and reserve grand champion
was Bradley Wales’ Blue Devils
Ivy Tucky, a senior 2-year-old.
In the Brown Swiss show, the
junior champion, Cha San Losh
Sweetheart, a winter calf owned
by Jennifer Johnson, was also
named the grand champion of
the show. The senior champion
and reserve' grand champion
was Jason Bulter’s 4-year-old,
Bo Ka Troubadour Manah
Following in the reserve junior
champion position was
Rockyslope RL ELE Faith, a fall
yearling owned by Lisa Fitch.
Two Guernseys made up the
entire Guernsey show and were
deemed worthy of grand cham
pion distinction. Named junior
and grand champion was
Leroydales Henry Sara, a sum
mer yearling owned by Jordan
Mcllwam and named reserve
junior and reserve grand cham
pion was Leroydales Amen
Gabby, a spring calf also owned

champions in the Holstein show.
There junior champion was
Sherri Thompson’s Hyllside
Astre Kandie. The reserve
junior champion was John
Turton’s Tu-Jo Acres Tiffany.
The grand champion Holstein
was Chelsea Coolidge’s senior 2-
year-old, Le-Ma-Re Hart Royal
Liverty. The reserve grand
champion was Justin Smoker’s
junior 2-year-old Allegen Tesk
Gadget.
A sister - brother team cap
tured the grand and reserve
grand champion Jersey awards.
Emily Norman took top honors
with her junior 2-year-old,
Normandell Mister T Monika,
while Mark Norman was pulled
into the reserve position with his
junior 3-year-old, Normandell
Berretta Raindrop.
Ryan Sprout showed the
junior champion Jersey with his
fall yearling, Holmhurst Regal
Cranberry Too, a fall yearling.
The reserve junior champion
was Kimberly Barker’s fall calf,
Jer Sweet Maple Marigold
The junior champion Milking
Shorthorn was Mike Pierce’s
spring calf, Sunny Boy Honey
Hilda-P. The reserve junior
champion was Bradley Wales’
winter calf, Blue Devils Becky
Soo. Bradley Wales showed the
grand and reserve grand cham
pion of the show. The grand
champion was Kusmar Nancy
Soo, a dry 5-year-old, and the
reserve grand champion was
Blue Devils Amy Soo, a senior 2-
year-old.
