Six Breeds Represented In Bedford Junior Dairy Show

paraded their dairy cattle in
competition at the Bedford
Direct Marketing
ALLENTOWN (Lehigh
Co.) The 1999 Mid-Atlantic
Direct Marketing Conference has
been set to be held Feb. 17-20 at
the Princess Royale Hotel in
Ocean City, Maryland.
Workshops are scheduled to be
held Feb. 17; conference presenta
tions and seminars are to be held
Feb. 18 and Feb. 19; and farm
market tours are set for Feb. 20.
The ideas and insights gained
from talking with people from
Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey,
Pennsylvania and Virginia are
worth far mote than the cost of
registration, according to confer
ence officials.

New at the 1999 convention is to
be a contest the “Marketing
Brags and Blunders” competition.

Jennifer Sweinhart received
the grand champion award in
Ayrshire competition while

ters from each state are to submit
actual farm marketing stories. To

The contest’s two catagories are
“Shining Star,” and “Worst
Nightmare.”
