at the Westmoreland County Airport take Rte. 981 south 3 miles
to Kemerer Road or from Mt. Pleasant, take Rte. 981 north
to Kemerer Road where farm is located.
The Kemerer family has decided to discontinue dairying and are dispersing their complete
dairy herd and all their springing heifers. This is a good, young herd that are almost all
home raised with good feet, legs and udders. A herd not pushed and AV 61 lbs. of milk
out of the tank with fresh cows milking to 95 lbs. with several 2 year olds milking 80 lbs.
milk plus. There are 55 two and three year olds, 30 cows and heifers due for August,
September, October and November, 20 just recently fresh. Records show Holstein cows
to 30,322 878 915 and Ayrshire records to 24,300 875 790. A herd that has been bred Al
for over 40 years with Holstein sires including Melwood, Leadman, Belltone, Cubby,
Lance, Melvin and Jake. Ayrshire sires include Gemstone, Dividend, Royal Command,
Remus, Mozart and Sensation. Almost all Ayrshires are regis
tered.
This is a clean young, hard working herd that knows how to
