A42-L«nca»ter Farming, Saturday, September 12, 1998 Holstein Foundation Receives $165,000 Challenge Grant BRATTLEBORO, Vt. The Holstein Foundation Board of Trustees has announced that Wil liam T. Graham, founder of World Dairy Center in Madison, Wiscon sin, has generously pledged $165,000 to the Holstein Founda tion. Mr. Graham’s pledge is a matching challenge grant to en courage support from individuals, corporation, private foundations, and organizations for the Founda tion’s Dairy Bowl Contest and Young Dairy Leaders Institute. Mr. Graham has pledged to match contributions on a 1:1 basis made to the Holstein Foundation for Dairy Bowl Contest tip to a mazimum of $5,000 per year for three years (1998, 1999, 2000). In addition, Mr. Gra ham has pledged to match contributions on a 1:1 basis made to the Holstein Foundation for Young Daily Leaders Institute, up to a maxi mum of $50,000 per year for three years. “Mr. Graham’s un precedented generosity to the Holstein Founda tion to support dairy youth and young adult education programs is a pivotal event in the ad vancement of the Hol stein Foundation’s work,” says Obie Sni der, chairman, Holstein Foundation Board of Trustees.
