we’d like to extend a warm welcome to Nebraska —the
Comhuskcr State—and Omaha, its largest city You’ll
fiijd a diversity of attractions, culture and cuisine.
You’ll stay in the histone Old Market District in
downtown Omaha You’ll have a chance to discover
parts of eastern Nebraska during the two days you’re
on the road on tour Highlights will include the state’s
largest dairy at about 2,000 head; a world-recognized
irrigation equipment manufacturer, an elk farm and a
commercial feedlot. You’ll be caught up in "Big Red
Fever” during our stop at the University of Nebraska
Stadium in Lincoln During the opening banquet,
you’ll roll with laughter as you listen to the antics of
Roger Wclsch, Nebraska’s Storyteller Institute
participants will be treated to an evening at the world
famous Henry Doorly Zoo. Stops will include the Lied
Jungle, a spectacular tropical paradise, a perfect place
to escape the cold as you stroll through the rain forests
of Asia, Africa and South America. At the zoo’s Scott
Kingdoms of the Seas Aquarium, you’ll discover
penguins, eels and puffins as well as an 850,000-gallon
coral reef-shark system which houses colorful fish and
sharks. Another evening will be spent at the brand-new
Strategic Air Command Museum where Institute goers
can view a unique assortment of aircraft, missiles, rare
